making holidays special

Most of you have been reading my blog for a few years and know by now my mom is a sucker for holidays! She sends us THE coolest boxes filled with all sorts of special goodies that make celebrating the holidays even more special and unique. For Christmas one year, she had bought me decorations throughout the year and gave them to me for Christmas ... it was probably the best Christmas present I have ever gotten ... we all know, decorations can get expensive.

So, for you, Mom ... I wanted to show you what I have done with some of those decorations, for Halloween....

Addi texted Heath on the way home from school. She wrote: "Heath you are a good man. I love you. I hope you have a good day. Are you glad you are a cop? You are cool"

Heath responded: "Addi. You are the best daughter a parent could ask for. Thank you so much for your text messages. They make me smile :). Can't wait to see you guys!!!"

In the spirit of football season and "cooler" weather, Logan and his friends got together for a football game last Sunday afternoon.

I had soooo much fun with Addi, last week, on her first field trip of the year. We went to Barnes and Noble. All us moms were a little concerned about what there was to do at a book store for 4 1st Grade Classes. It turned out to be the coolest field trip I've seen yet.
